CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The cuffs are worked in the round, starting with a foundation chain that fits comfortably over your hand.
The lace section is worked first, followed by a ribbed wristband crocheted directly onto the foundation edge.
Sizing:
Start with a foundation chain in a multiple of 4, making sure the opening is large enough to slip over your hand.
Sample: 24 chains.
You can adjust the circumference by adding or removing chains in multiples of 4.
The instructions below use the sample stitch count.
⸻
PART 1 — LACE CUFF
Foundation
Ch 24 (or any multiple of 4 that fits comfortably over your hand).
Join with a sl st to form a ring, making sure the chain is not twisted.
Round 1 — Foundation Round
Work 1 sc into the back bump of each chain around.
Sample: 24 sc.
Join with a sl st to the first sc.

Round 2 — V-Stitches
Ch 3 (counts as the first dc).
Ch 1, work 1 dc into the same st.
Skip the next st.
Work (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) into the next st, skip the following st.
Repeat around.
Join with a sl st into the 3rd ch of the beginning ch-3.

Round 3 — Chain Spaces
Work 1 sc into the first dc.
Ch 3, skip the next 2 sts, work 1 sc into the next st.
Repeat around.
At the end of the round, instead of making the final ch-3:
Ch 1, then work 1 dc into the first sc of the round.
This shifts the starting point to the center of the last chain space.

Round 4 — Lace Petals
Ch 3 (counts as the first dc), ch 1, work 1 dc into the same chain space.
In the next ch-3 space, work:
- dc2tog
- Ch 3
- dc2tog
- Ch 3
- dc2tog
This creates a group of 3 petals.
In the next ch-3 space, work:
(1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc).
Continue alternating:
V-stitch → 3-petal group → V-stitch → 3-petal group
around the entire round.
Join with a sl st into the 3rd ch of the beginning ch-3.

Round 5 — Chain Arches
Ch 1.
In the ch-1 space of the first V-stitch, work:
(1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc).
Ch 3.
Work 1 sc into the ch-3 space between the 1st and 2nd petals.
Ch 3.
Work 1 sc into the ch-3 space between the 2nd and 3rd petals.
Ch 3.
In the ch-1 space of the next V-stitch, work:
(1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc).
Continue following this sequence around.
Join with a sl st to the first sc.

Round 6 — Lace Petals
Sl st into the first ch-3 space.
Repeat the stitch pattern from Round 4, alternating V-stitches and 3-petal groups in the ch-3 spaces.
Join with a sl st into the 3rd ch of the beginning ch-3.

Round 7
Repeat Round 5.

Round 8
Repeat Round 6.

Round 9 — Finishing Edge
Work sc stitches around the entire edge.
- In each ch-3 space, work 2 sc.
- In all other stitches, work 1 sc into each st.
Join with a sl st to the first sc.
Fasten off and weave in the end.

⸻
PART 2 — RIBBED WRISTBAND
The ribbed wristband is worked directly onto the foundation edge of the cuff.
Round 1 — Foundation
Attach your yarn to the foundation edge.
Ch 3 (counts as the first dc).
Work 1 dc into each remaining st around.
Join with a sl st into the 3rd ch of the beginning ch-3.

Round 2 — Ribbing
Ch 3 (counts as the first dc).
Work 1 FPdc around the post of the next dc.
Work 1 BPdc around the post of the following dc.
Continue alternating:
1 FPdc, 1 BPdc
around the entire round.
Join with a sl st into the 3rd ch of the beginning ch-3.
How to work the stitches:
- FPdc (Front Post Double Crochet): Yarn over, insert your hook from front to back and then to front again around the post of the stitch below. Complete a dc as usual.
- BPdc (Back Post Double Crochet): Yarn over, insert your hook from back to front and then to back again around the post of the stitch below. Complete a dc as usual.
These alternating stitches create a stretchy, textured ribbed effect.
Rounds 3–4
Repeat Round 2, working FPdc around FPdc and BPdc around BPdc to maintain the ribbing pattern.

After Round 4, fasten off and weave in all ends.
⸻
SECOND CUFF
Repeat all instructions to create the second cuff.
Make sure both cuffs have the same number of foundation chains and rounds.
