CROCHET ARM WARMERS – FREE TUTORIAL AND PATTERN

 

Pattern – US Crochet Terms

Hook: 6 mm (J-10)

Yarn: I used Lion Brand 100% wool yarn

Total length: adjust as needed

Abbreviations:

ch — chain

st — stitch

blo — back loop only

sc — single crochet

hdc — half double crochet

dc — double crochet

sl st — slip stitch

rep — repeat


Cuff

Foundation Chain:

Ch 25 (or customize to your hand width)

Rows 1–18 (or preferred length):

Hdc in blo × 20

Sc in blo × 5

Ch 1, turn

(You should have 25 sts each row)

Try on — adjust rows if needed.


Ruffles

Round 1–2:

1 dc, 2 dc in next st — rep around

Sl st to join

(2 rows total — adjust if you want more volume)

Shape the flare:

Sl st the outer edge together

Thumb hole

Continue along side seam:

Sl st 5

Skip 7 sts

Sl st to end

Fasten off, weave in ends

Repeat for second arm warmer!
